Conflict & Fighting is as old as humanity. Today the ability to defend oneself and loved ones is just as important as in years past.

Budo Taijutsu is a martial art from Japan which follows a lineage of over 1000 years. This art is comprised of 9 martial traditions, 6 of
which are from Samurai teachings and three of which are Ninja traditions. These 9 schools are presently under the guidance of Soke
(Grandmaster) Masaaki Hatsumi of the Bujinkan Dojo (Divine Warrior Hall)

Though the teachings of the Bujinkan began long ago, the techniques and methods still apply today. Many "new" popular martial arts
such as Mixed Martial Arts and Brazilian Jiujutsu, and arts developed for sport like Tae Kwon Do and many types of karate are
practiced through competition, bound by rules for reasons of safety and fair play. Budo Taijutsu practitionjers do not compete, and so
are not stifled by rules. Therfore the art continues to be applicable to real life and reaches beyond the simplified environment of the
competetive venue.
